Logan Sargeant hoping to build on Bahrain performance

F1 rookie Logan Sargeant is hoping to build on his debut performance in Saudi Arabia this weekend, calling his Bahrain drive a “great foundation”.
While teammate Alex Albon picked up a point for 10th in the first race of the season, a neat and tidy weekend from the American ended with a 12th-place finish.
The 22-year-old said: “Hopefully we can continue to be competitive and keep improving as a team.
“Obviously, Jeddah is a very challenging circuit so we’re going to have to build into the weekend with the aim to come away with a positive result.”
Thai driver Albon is optimistic ahead of the weekend in Jeddah, saying: “On paper, it’s a track that might suit us a little better than Bahrain, so we’ll see once we’re there.
We’re still understanding the car and it will be interesting to go to a different track to learn more about the car.”
Williams are seventh in the Constructor’s table after the teams’ first opening race points-score since 2017.
