Williams reveals 2023 “season launch” date

Williams Racing will unveil their 2023 challenger on February 6th, at their 2023 “season launch” event.
The event, which will be shown exclusively on the Williams website and app at 14:00GMT, will see drivers Alex Albon and F1 rookie Logan Sargeant reveal the 2023 livery.
Williams, who are still without a Team Principal following the departure of Jost Capito in December, have finished bottom of the table in four of the last five seasons.
2022 saw the Grove team pick up just eight points, the FW44 proving uncompetitive.
As it stands, Williams will be F1’s first team to show off their 2023 car, in which Thai-driver Albon will be hoping to build on a positive return to the sport, having sat out 2021.
When the car allowed, the 26-year-old was able to deliver impressive performances, scoring points on three occasions.
American racer Sargeant will make his F1 debut in Bahrain, having made the step up from FIA Formula 2.
The 22-year-old from Florida has spoken about how well-prepared he feels going into 2023, adding: “I’m ready and excited to be a part of this journey as the team looks to progress up the grid.”
Five other teams have announced their launch dates.
