Fortnite Meets Formula 1: The Ultimate Crossover Speeds into the Item Shop

The worlds of high-octane motorsport and digital battlefields are about to collide. Formula 1, the pinnacle of racing, has announced a landmark collaboration with Fortnite, one of the most popular games on the planet. The partnership will bring the thrill of the grid straight into the game’s Item Shop complete with team-inspired outfits, gear, and emotes that let players show off their racing allegiance in style.

A New Era of Speed and Style

With the 2025 Formula 1 season nearing its dramatic finale and the Las Vegas Grand Prix just around the corner, F1 is shifting gears into the gaming world. On November 20, 2025, the F1 Cosmetic Team Set will officially arrive in Fortnite, featuring digital designs inspired by all ten teams on the grid.

Each outfit will carry bespoke branding that mirrors the real-world liveries and race suits worn by drivers from powerhouse teams like Scuderia Ferrari, Red Bull Racing, and Mercedes-AMG Petronas. The set will also include themed Gliders, Pickaxes, and Emotes, allowing players to fully embrace the spirit of Formula 1 whether they’re dropping into the island or celebrating a Victory Royale.

From the Track to the Island

This isn’t the first time Fortnite has flirted with the world of motorsport. F1 champion Lewis Hamilton recently joined the game’s roster of Icon Series characters, bringing his signature style and star power to Epic Games’ ever-expanding universe. But this new collaboration marks the first time the entire Formula 1 ecosystem its teams, colours, and culture has been represented in the game.

The partnership reflects a growing trend in Formula 1’s strategy, connecting with younger audiences through gaming and digital experiences. By merging the excitement of racing with Fortnite’s creative chaos, both brands are tapping into a shared audience that thrives on competition, speed, and self-expression.

Fans Gear Up for Launch

As the countdown to November 20 begins, excitement is building across both communities. For Fortnite players, the collaboration offers a chance to race into battle dressed in the colours of their favourite teams. For F1 fans, it’s a fresh way to celebrate the sport’s global appeal not from the grandstands, but from the comfort of their consoles and PCs.

The F1 x Fortnite crossover isn’t just a cosmetic drop it’s a celebration of two worlds united by adrenaline, precision, and passion. Whether you’re chasing pole position or a Victory Royale, this collaboration promises to deliver one thing above all: speed, style, and spectacle.
