Williams Set to Unveil FW48 Livery as Team Enters Pivotal 2026 F1 Era
Atlassian Williams F1 Team will officially reveal the livery of its 2026 Formula 1 car, the FW48, on Tuesday 3 February, marking a fresh visual identity as the sport enters a bold new regulations era.
The season will begin with a unique, fan-designed livery that will run during pre-season testing in Barcelona later this month. Fans from 162 countries took part in the vote, casting nearly 55,000 ballots for the one-off design, an initiative that underlines Williams’ commitment to bringing supporters closer to the team than ever before.
On February 3, Williams will then unveil the striking race livery that will be used for the remainder of the season, as Alex Albon and Carlos Sainz continue their push to return the team to the sharp end of the grid.
Formula 1’s 2026 regulations usher in the biggest technical reset in a generation, with cars that are shorter, lighter, and engineered to promote closer racing. Williams has been building toward this moment as a key step in its long-term journey back to championship contention.
The team heads into 2026 carrying strong momentum after its best campaign in nine years. In 2025, Williams scored 137 points to finish fifth in the Constructors’ Championship, highlighted by podium finishes in Baku and Qatar, as well as its first-ever Sprint podium in Austin.
