F1 2024 is in full swing, and this season features a record 24 races. Next on the schedule is the Austrian GP, which will be held on Sunday 30th June at 3 pm local Austrian time. The race will take place at the Red Bull Ring in Spielberg and continues the European leg of the tour. If you want to know more, we have you covered with more details about the race and what’s next to come in this F1 season.

Details of the Austrian Grand Prix

  • Time: Sunday 30th June (3 pm local time)
  • Location: Spielberg, Austria
  • Track: Red Bull Ring

The Austrian Grand Prix is the eleventh round of the campaign. The Red Bull Ring contains only 10 corners and has the season’s shortest lap time, which means that every detail will count for the drivers as they round the Austrian circuit. Max Verstappen is a five-time winner around teh Red Bull Ring and is the favorite to take home the victory and continue his winning streak. However, the chasing pack consisting of Lando Norris, Charles Leclerc, and Carlos Sainz will not be letting the three-time World Champion march away easily with the crown.

The campaign so far

Up until this point, ten races have been completed, the last being the Spanish GP held on 23rd June at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya. Max Verstappen emerged as the winner, with Lando Norris recording a second-place finish for the third time in four races. Meanwhile, Lewis Hamilton made his first podium of the season.

The tour is now in a (mostly) European leg. The globe-trotting campaign initially began in the Middle East before making its way to the Far East, Australia, and now Europe. The final stretch of the campaign will take place predominantly across the Americas before curling back to the Middle East for the final run in Abu Dhabi.
