In 2026, Formula 1: Drive to Survive fans have a new way to go deeper into the sport through a new collaboration between Apple and Netflix. For the first time, Drive to Survive will be available to stream on both Netflix (globally) and Apple TV (U.S. only) as Season 8 launches and takes viewers through the thrills, shake-ups, and triumphs of the 2025 FIA Formula 1 Championship.
Whether you’re a casual viewer who fell in love with Formula 1 through Drive to Survive or a die-hard enthusiast tuning in to each race weekend throughout the year, the collaboration between Apple TV and Netflix brings more ways to engage with the sport. As Apple TV becomes the exclusive U.S. broadcaster for all F1 races including all practice, qualifying, Sprint sessions and Grands Prix, Netflix will also carry Apple TV’s live coverage of the Canadian Grand Prix to viewers in the U.S., giving Drive to Survive fans a chance to see the rivalries they’ve watched for years play out in real-time.

Starting this year, Apple TV is the exclusive U.S. broadcaster of F1, delivering comprehensive coverage with all practice, qualifying races, spring sessions, and Grand Prix available to Apple TV subscribers all season long.
U.S. fans will also be able to watch Apple TV’s live coverage of the Canadian Grand Prix on Netflix in May.
