Hebben F1-auto’s ABS?

Nee, Formule 1-auto’s hebben geen Antiblokkeersysteem (ABS). ABS is een elektronische veiligheidsfunctie die voorkomt dat de wielen blokkeren tijdens hard remmen, waardoor de bestuurder de controle over de besturing behoudt. Het gebruik van ABS is echter sinds het seizoen 1994 verboden in de F1.
