Formula 1 makes history with a first-ever season launch at London’s iconic O2 Arena, featuring all ten teams, their drivers, and team principals in a dazzling event to mark the sport’s 75th anniversary.

  • The F1 75 event commemorated 75 years of Formula 1 with an unforgettable night at The O2.
  • All ten teams and twenty drivers revealed their 2025 liveries in a stunning display.
  • Over 15,000 fans packed the arena, creating an electrifying atmosphere.

The landmark event also garnered an impressive digital audience:

  • A peak of 1.1 million concurrent viewers watched live on Formula 1’s YouTube channel.
  • A total of 4.6 million people tuned in throughout the broadcast.
  • #F175 trended globally on social media, with over 20,000 posts in the UK alone.

Formula 1 made history at London’s O2 Arena, bringing together the entire grid—including all teams, drivers, and Team Principals—for a grand spectacle that officially kicked off the 2025 season. The sold-out event, attended by more than 15,000 enthusiastic fans, also celebrated the sport’s 75th anniversary with an extraordinary fusion of motorsport and entertainment.

One of the most highly anticipated moments of the night was the unveiling of the 2025 team liveries from Alpine, Aston Martin, Ferrari, Haas, Kick Sauber, McLaren, Mercedes, Racing Bulls, Red Bull, and Williams. Fans were treated to exclusive interviews with key figures in the sport, as drivers and team bosses shared their thoughts and ambitions for the upcoming season.

Adding to the excitement, comedian and actor Jack Whitehall entertained the crowd with his sharp humor and energy. Multi-platinum artist Machine Gun Kelly delivered a high-energy performance, while country music star Kane Brown brought a unique flair to the celebration. The evening concluded with an unforgettable performance by legendary British band Take That, who performed their classics, including Greatest Day and Rule The World.

The event embraced Formula 1’s reputation for cutting-edge innovation. The O2 Arena featured its largest-ever LED screen, spanning the entire venue width, while a concealed garage-style door was revealed beneath it, allowing drivers to make their entrances in spectacular fashion. Suspended up to eight meters in the air, the race cars were displayed in a dynamic visual sequence, complemented by a floating LED screen showcasing immersive lighting effects that highlighted each team’s story.

This groundbreaking event was brought to life by creative director Brian Burke of BrianBurkeCreative, in collaboration with Stufish Entertainment Architects, DX7 Design, and production company 1826. Burke, renowned for his work on the Las Vegas Grand Prix opening and closing ceremonies, ensured the night was a visual masterpiece.

The star-studded red carpet saw the presence of celebrities such as Idris Elba, Gordon Ramsay, and Jerry Bruckheimer, along with notable figures from the worlds of sports, fashion, and entertainment, all eager to witness the thrilling blend of motorsport and live performance.

With the 2025 season now officially launched, anticipation builds for the first Grand Prix of the year in Australia from March 14-16, where the battle for the championship begins. If the energy from this event is any indication, fans can expect an unforgettable season ahead.
