Charles Leclerc and Wife Alexandra Welcome Baby Girl Bianca, F1 Drivers and WAGs React

Ferrari F1 star Charles Leclerc has shared the happy news that his daughter with his wife, Alexandra, was born on November 3. The couple named their newborn baby Bianca. Alexandra shared this news via Instagram on Wednesday, as the post garnered reactions from multiple F1 drivers and WAGs.

“Bianca 🤍 3.11.26”

The couple shared a simple post announcing this major news as they waited a day after her birth to make the announcement.

Charles and Alexandra have been together since early 2023. Earlier in 2026, the couple tied the knot in a private ceremony in the former’s native Monaco.

The pair never explicitly announced that Alexandra was expecting a baby, but the news became an open secret in the paddock following the Frenchwoman’s arrival at the F1 Hungarian Grand Prix in July with a visible bump. It was as late as September when Leclerc confirmed in a Threads post posted by Scuderia Ferrari that he was going to become a father soon.

F1 Drivers And WAGs Congratulate Charles Leclerc as Reactions Pour in After the Birth of His Child

McLaren F1 driver Oscar Piastri, Alpine’s Pierre Gasly and Williams‘ Carlos Sainz were some of the first from the grid to publicly congratulate Leclerc upon the birth of his daughter, Bianca, as they shared their reactions to the news under the fellow driver’s Instagram post on Wednesday.

“Congrats to you both!” Piastri commented under Leclerc’s post. While Gasly, who is a close friend of Leclerc’s, simply wrote ‘Congrats!’. Meanwhile, Leclerc’s former teammate at Ferrari, Sainz, shared a wholesome message, saying:

“So happy for you ☺️ Welcome to the world, Bianca.”

Gasly’s girlfriend, Kika Gomes, who is also a close friend of Alexandra’s, shared her reaction in the comments of the post, showcasing her delight at the news as she simply wrote “😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍”. Meanwhile, George Russell’s girlfriend, Carmen Mundt, shared that she ‘can’t wait to meet’ young Bianca.

Four-time F1 world champion Max Verstappen also shared his reaction to the news as he simply liked Leclerc’s Instagram post. The Dutchman became a father to a daughter, Lily, in May 2025.

Charles Leclerc Had Claimed He Would Not Miss a Race For The Birth of His Child

Speaking to the media at the US Grand Prix in late October, Leclerc had insisted that he would not miss an F1 race this year for the birth of his child. He said that he doubted that it would even come to this. Now, it is confirmed that Leclerc’s newborn child was born between the Mexican and Brazilian Grands Prix, on Tuesday, November 3.

“No, I don’t think I’ll miss a race. I doubt I’ll have to miss any, but of course I’ll do my best to stay home as much as possible between races,” Leclerc had said.

“I might arrive at the races a little later. But I’ll compete in all the races on Sunday,” he added.

F1 drivers are usually mandated to arrive at a race on Wednesday before a race, but an exception could be made in Leclerc’s case for this weekend. No delays to his schedule on media day or Friday in São Paulo have yet been made official by Ferrari at the time of writing.
