Away from all the racing festivities lined up for the Mexico City GP, Lando Norris has decided to bring his iconic fashion aesthetic to the forefront during the weekend. With neon yellow standing as one of his statement colors, the outgoing F1 world champion has shaken hands with Quadrant to set up a pop-up shop dedicated to a theme where fashion meets motorsport coverage.

Located on Masaryk Avenue in Polanco, the unique experience brings together the Nissan LN merchandise, which features pieces that incorporate the colors and graphics closely associated with the McLaren driver.

For the most part, the recurring theme of all the merchandise available in the store is a combination of fluorescent green-yellow & black. With the collection featuring a mix of women’s and men’s clothing that can also be considered unisex, the T-shirts start at almost $75 (MXN $1,400), with the prices going up to $80 (MXN $1,500).

Caps cost close to $60 (MXN $1,100), with bucket hats sharing the price tag. Keychains happen to be the cheapest item available at the store, costing just above $21 (MXN $400).

Aside from all the physical items present at the store, one can also order items from an online catalog via an in-store iPad. Per the information available, purchases made this way can take up to approximately three days to arrive.

The Lando Norris Pop-Up Isn’t Just About Clothing

Situated in Gallery CDMX, Avenida Presidente Masaryk 407, Polanco, Mexico City, this one-of-a-kind pop-up opened its doors to the public on October 29. Scheduled to remain open till November 1, operating from 12 PM to 8 PM local time each day. However, the store isn’t available for walk-ins without registering on Boletia first.

Other than the clothing and the merchandise, the store also displays memorabilia closely related to Norris‘ career. A helmet, a single-seater race car, and a race suit stand as some of the most distinct displays of the pop-up. According to the on-site information provided, they are all race-used, adding another layer of excitement to the display.

For those with a keen eye, the displays make way for them to observe how the motorsport language has transferred to fashion, with high-impact colors, numbers, logos, and sportswear being part of urban looks.

And while all of this makes for a very special experience, it isn’t the only Norris-themed pop-up an F1 weekend has experienced this season.

Lando Norris Pop-Ups Have Been a Recurring Event in F1

Quadrant, the entertainment and lifestyle brand founded by Norris, has been hard at work to bring new experiences to the world of F1. Fashion pop-ups stand as one of its initiatives to promote the same. Partnering with Shopify’s commercial infrastructure, the online-exclusive brand introduced its first-ever physical (but temporary) shop in Silverstone during the British Grand Prix weekend.

Open to the public from June 30 onwards for the British GP, the store acted as a means of building a bigger community, with Norris also hoping to capitalize on the commercial side of F1. With Shopify handling all the nuts and bolts of the pop-up, the storefront was converted into screens that showed motor racing footage non-stop.

Notably, over 10,000 visitors came to the store, 25% more than the 8,000 expected to arrive. The Silverstone pop-up was therefore able to achieve a 100% sell-through of its collection.

Following the Silverstone pop-up, the temporary store was also available in a dedicated downtown event space at 920 Congress Avenue, Austin, Texas, during the United States Grand Prix.
