Early Life and Karting
Born on 28 September 2004 in Paris, France, to an Algerian family, Isack Hadjar was introduced to motorsport at a young age. His passion for racing was ignited after watching the Pixar animated movie “Cars” and receiving his first go-kart at the age of seven.
Hadjar began his competitive karting career in 2012, initially competing in national championships before progressing to the international scene in 2017. He quickly demonstrated his talent and determination, attracting attention from the motorsport community.
Rise Through the Junior Ranks
In 2019, Hadjar made his single-seater debut in the French F4 Championship. Despite his short stature causing initial difficulties, he secured one victory and finished seventh in the standings, claiming second in the junior class.
Hadjar continued to impress in 2020, competing in the F4 UAE Championship with 3Y Technology and the French F4 Championship. He secured three wins in the French series, ultimately finishing third in the drivers’ standings.
Formula Regional Success

Hadjar continued his partnership with Hitech Grand Prix, graduating to the FIA Formula 2 Championship in 2023. He adapted quickly to the new category, securing several wins and podium finishes throughout the season. In 2024, Hadjar narrowly missed out on the Formula 2 title, finishing runner-up to Gabriel Bortoleto in a closely contested championship battle.
Alongside his Formula 2 commitments, Hadjar participated in Formula 1 free practice sessions with Scuderia AlphaTauri in 2023 and Red Bull Racing in 2024. His impressive pace and feedback during these outings further solidified his status as a future Formula 1 star.
Joining Racing Bulls in Formula 1
