Inside Mercedes F1: Life in the Fast Lane, the official all-access book penned by award-winning author Matt Whyman, hits the shelves today (November 7). Available in hardback, audiobook and ebook, the publication charts the journey of the eight-time world champions from the start of the 2023 season through to this year’s British Grand Prix.
Following drivers Lewis Hamilton, George Russell, Team Principal and CEO Toto Wolff, along with the men and women that design, build, and race the team’s cars, the book provides insight into the world of F1 and one of its most successful teams.
Toto Wolff, Team Principal, CEO & co-owner of the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team commented: “This book lifts the lid on what life is really like inside our team and it has been based on unprecedented access – nobody has ever been this close to what happens behind the scenes. The book showcases stories of some of the many women and men who are working incredibly hard to get us to the front of the grid during some of our most challenging and most exciting seasons. I hope readers enjoy this inside track, which will help them discover even more about the sport as it continues to grow around the world.”
Matt Whyman, author of Inside Mercedes F1 added: “Travelling with the team over the last few years has been a fascinating experience. Nothing has been off-limits. I hope readers enjoy my revealing, access-all-areas portrait of the team as we hurtle towards the end of another enthralling season.”
