“He Wants Her Back”: Fans Speculate After Lando Norris’ Instagram Slip-Up on Ex-Girlfriend’s Birthday
F1 fans online have shared their reactions to Lando Norris’ apparent slip-up as the reigning world champion liked his ex-girlfriend Margarida Corceiro’s latest social media post. The Portuguese model shared a post on Tuesday celebrating her 24th birthday as Norris dropped a like under it. Some time later, the Briton unliked the post.

Fans in the comments speculated whether Norris was looking to get back with Corceiro under an Instagram post that narrated the incident.
“He wants her back,” wrote one fan.
“This proves that he keeps stalking her,” claimed another.
“I think he wants a replay,” joked another fan.
“I think he is just happy for her, don’t need to speculate so much guys,” wrote another fan.
Norris and Corceiro had an on-again, off-again relationship that started in 2023. The couple appeared publicly together for the first time in 2025. Corceiro was also present at the 2025 Abu Dhabi GP in December as Norris claimed his maiden F1 Drivers’ title in the UAE. However, the pair then split in early 2026.

Corceiro, who is a model by profession, has also previously dated Portuguese soccer star, Joao Felix.
Lando Norris’ Ex-Girlfriend Recalls Her Experience Dating the F1 Star
Another one of Norris’ ex-girlfriends, Luisinha Oliveira, has shared what the final months of her relationship with the F1 driver were like, saying that she felt like she was paying the price for ‘falling in love.’ In a Portuguese documentary, Oliveira said she was grateful for the support she received from her family during this tumultuous time.
“I’ve learned to always look to the positive side of every experience and every stage of life. And the silver lining was having the unconditional support of my parents, my grandma, of my friends. I never had to cry alone,” said Oliveira on “Luisinha: Chapter by Chapter.”
“It was a time in my life when I was exposed to a level of public attention I wasn’t used to. All of that simply came as a result of falling in love,” she added.

Norris and Oliveira broke up in 2022. After this, Norris began dating Corceiro, who was reportedly friends with Oliveira, in 2023.
Lando Norris Makes Candid Admission About His Media Appearances
Norris said that he hates to say the ‘wrong thing’ in front of the media or disrespect a fellow driver. At the Azerbaijan GP in September, the McLaren driver infamously said that Alpine’s Franco Colapinto did not deserve to be in F1 following a crash with the Argentine driver that led to Norris’ retirement from the race.
“I’m not the best in front of the media sometimes. I hate the fact when I say the wrong things, or I might disrespect someone when I say something, I hate that,” Norris told Martin Brundle during an interview with Sky Sports.
“I go home and I just question it for hours. Why I said what I said, why I did what I did,” he added.

When told that his fans appreciate that he is open and honest about things in the media, Norris replied, saying that there is still a line that he does not want to cross. He added that he appreciates when he receives respect from other drivers and also understands that it should go both ways.
