HEXIS Group signs technical partnership extension with Alpine F1 Team

HEXIS and Alpine F1 Team have signed a second technical collaboration for the supply of vinyl signs that will accompany the implementation of the Alpine F1 Team’s multi-site visual identity, both at the circuit and the French racing team’s headquarters.

“The HEXIS Group is very proud to continue its partnership with Alpine F1 Team for the second consecutive time. It is very satisfying to see French industry synergies united under the same banner and around shared values such as excellence, passion and performance. Formula 1 remains an excellent laboratory for testing and developing new technologies. The HEXIS Group is fully committed to working alongside Alpine F1 Team in this race for innovation and technological challenges.” Clément Mateu, HEXIS Group Managing Director.

Building on the first trust contract signed in 2018, this partnership renewal highlights the perfect match between HEXIS adhesive solutions and the need for innovation and the technological requirements of motorsport.

Antoine Magnan, Director of Strategic Partnerships, Alpine Racing, “Alpine F1 Team can count on the support of top-class engineering partners and we are proud to extend this agreement with HEXIS, as it provides the final touch to how this effort is presented to the world. The ability to swiftly apply liveries to complex surfaces with an impeccable finish is priceless in Formula One and HEXIS has amply demonstrated their capacity to respond to this challenge with the professional results Alpine F1 Team and our partners expect.”

Around 40 kilometres from Silverstone circuit, Enstone is where the cars that compete in Formula 1 are imagined and designed.

Joe McNamara, Alpine F1 Team Head of Paint and Graphics, has access to the entire catalogue of HEXIS PVC and digital printing products to produce or renew the signage required by Alpine F1 Team. The service includes marking the team’s various mobile logistical operations (17 logistics, engineering and hospitality trucks) and all the team’s signage for its travels around the world.

The HEXIS R&D laboratory develops a range of tailor-made products, adapted to the highly technical needs of the Formula 1 world, a detailing that uses extremely thin adhesive covering films that save weight and are easily changed.

Thanks to the HEXIS network of converters and installers, Alpine F1 Team will be able to make changes to its visual identity with a guarantee of optimal detailing and flexibility.

To comply with the new visual identity of Alpine F1 Team at the Viry-Châtillon site, HEXIS and its processing partners have produced all the new signage for the site, where Alpine F1 Team engines are designed.

HEXIS supplies its products and network of certified independent installers to carry out the various coverings used by Alpine F1 Team.
